The optional Rear Wave Control enclosure gives DS loudspeakers consistent, predictable sonic performance while reducing sound from bleeding into adjacent rooms. In the critical 500 Hz to 2,000 Hz range, the sound isolation is a significant –37 dB. The enclosure’s unique shape allows it to be easily tucked through the loudspeaker cutout hole without disturbing the ceiling material—perfect for retrofit installations. Strategically placed rubber inserts on the enclosure also help prevent unwanted resonance from being transmitted to nearby surfaces.
